Settling wells
Settling wells are used to collect of sediment in a sewage system. Depending on the diameter of the settling well, it can be made in a version with access (diameters above DN600) or without access (diameters up to DN600).
| Bottom execution: | Usually the bottom is made from HDPE plate, but when the well will work in wetlands then it is recommended to make a additional chamber (the bottom is filled with concrete in this case) |
| Execution of the top: | The top of the settling well is usually made from HDPE plate, on which a relieving and cover plate is mounted (on which it is possible to mount a manhole type A15, B125, C250, D400). |
| Operation: | Wells up to D800 diameter are made as manhole, while the above DN800 are manhole wells (a service crew may enter). In the manhole design, manhole steps are welded to the well walls. |
