Pipeline connections – welding technology
Connecting pipelines by welding technology - is used to connect sewage pipelines made from spiral pipes or from smooth pipelines for water and sewage installations (pressure connections).
| Construction of the connection: | Pipeline connections made using welding technology are most often carried out at the construction site, at the place where the pipeline is assembled. In the case of spiral pipes, the weld is made using of an extruder, which fills the weld gap between the connected pipes. In the case of smooth pipes, joining occurs as a result of melting the face surface of two pipes and then pressing them down. |
| Application: | Welded joints are used to connect smooth pipes (diameters from DN90 ... 630 or for spiral pipes with diameters from DN300 ... DN2500. To perform welded joints it is necessary to have the appropriate welding qualifications. |
| Color: | The outer and inner layer - black (may be a different color for spiral pipes), the outer layer - black in case of spiro and smooth pipes (for smooth pipes, the outer layer can be of any color - individual decison of a customer). |
